The age structure of a population is important in planning for the future of a community, particularly for schools, community centers, and health care. An older population will have greater health care needs. The percent of elderly population is on a steady increase: in 2010, 13.3% of the population was age 65+ and in 2015 it was 14.9%. It is estimated that within the next 10 years elder people will outnumber the amount of children for the first time. Our goal at Continuum of Care is to help each and every individual thrive in homes they love, rather than having to relocate to a group home or nursing home. We have diligently built our team of caregivers to be prepared for all of the challenges they may face. It can be hard to invite a stranger into your home, leave the hard work to us. Each of our Caregiver submits to a drug screen and background check that includes fingerprints, and they are our employees. All issues are addressed by our agency, just give us a call and we will find a solution for you.
